M8 and Konica Hexanon 50mm f1.2 photos to share

Hello anybody, my name is Enrico and I'm new to the forum.
I will get my Konica Hexanon Limited 50 in a couple of days...
Can't wait to try it on my M8.
Will post some picture as soon as i have some worth it

Let us know if you have to have the lens adjusted, mine is fine now but had to be tweaked by DAG for the M8. Hopefully yours will be spot on when it arrives.

got to get me one of those

Hello,

I'm at the brink of putting up my Canon 7s with 50mm 0.95 RF lens and my Canon IIb with Zeiss Sonnar-badged Jupiter 50mm 1.5 lens for a trade for an M-Hexanon 50mm 1.2 lens, I LOVE the looks of its shots, it would do soooo nice on my M3 loaded with Kodak E100G!

Anyone for a trade?

I fall in love with my Hexanon 50mm f1.2 moment I had my hands on.
I only spent $700 for the lens, and I like it better than Noctiux that I had.

It's one of my favorite lens!

Nice photos davichan. I should give mine a try on the M8. I have not used it with the M8 much because I don't have a 62mm IR filter and I don't like to shoot in color without the filters...the colors just look wrong to me. That said, the 50/1.2 is a great lens. Better to my eyes than the Noctilux for most purposes but not as "cutting edge" as the Summilux ASPH. I think it most closely resembles the 50mm summilux pre-asph in the way it draws an image. It's really well put together and pleasant to use too...much more compact and ligher than the noctilux. All in all it is a great lens.

Just get a 67mm IR filter with a 62-67 stepping ring...this solution works fine with all kind of filters...the only downside is you wont be able to attach the hood with the stepping ring on...and you will need a 67mm lens cap as well unless you dont mind a scratched filter....

Wow, that's a bargain! Anyway, if you get tired with it I can take it off your shoulders with $710 :D
