M8 arrived today, what now?

When I was in Canada I bought a 28 ultron f1.9 from a fellow RFF member. It was a steal and came with UV filter and coded (nicely). Frankly, I only have M6 🙂

So if one day I switch to M8, it it seems like it will be my prime lens

What could have ever prompted you to jump at such conclusions?

Facts maybe?

Almost every photographer I've ever met who then has noticed my M8 and made a negative comment about how bad they are supposed to be knew almost nothing about the camera let alone even used one.

Yes, there are a number of people who make negative comments about the M8 and have owned one (many valid points admitted too re: early reliability etc) and could not get on with the camera and later sold it - This I grant you. But I still contest that most who slate the M8 have never even tried it. 🙂
