With a Voigtlander Cosina (VC) 15mm f 4.5. I stretch out and take these pictures with the lens set at 0.3m (about 12”). I get many hits. It’s so liberating being able to focus a Leica at less than 1 metre.
No more tyranny of the viewfinder…all focusing is by estimating the distance.
It’s equivalence on the M8 is 20mm and is a sharp, superbly made, lovely to use, FF tiny lens with fantastic optics.
No need to use a viewfinder. Pin sharp guessing distances. (all pics are OOC and hugely downsized for forum)
Steve Huff has reviewed it here:

I don’t have problems with any colours in the corners…no cyan or magenta. I leave the UV/IR filter off…just not necessary for the v occasional polyester suit! Sometimes I use a VC 21mm viewfinder inherited with my other VC lens. It works well but if you use the extreme edges of the camera viewfinder it just covers the 15mm image anyway (v close to 20mm equivalence). I do a lot of my pics holding the camera at waist level, or stretched on a neck strap!
As a general camera it is great being able to stretch out away from the viewfinder. It's just calling out for street and party photography with its fantastic distortions. Just blaze away in B&W. On a table with slow exposures and your in another world.
A cheap lens with enormous character and useability. The best thing is it’s a steal away price at less than $500.

It's a nice lens and a lot of fun.
Why don't you post the images at a size where they can be more easily appreciated? 1024 pixels wide is much nicer to be able to see some of the quality.

Hi Godfrey
There are limits to the size I can post only about 500 px wide. I think subscriptions get larger posting rights.
