I'm thinking about buying the M8. It appeals mainly because of it's traditional operation & the compact size as opposed to the huge bulk of all the DSLRs.
However, the colour cast & filter issue strikes me as bizarre, esspecially when the cost of going into this system is not cheap at all.
Anyway, I know Leica like to advance at a tectonic pace, but now they've gone digital in the M8, will it be likely that regular technical updates to the M8 will be the norm to move at a more 21st century speed?
I don't want to buy now, and then find an updaded camera is out the week after I buy mine!
