To be honest, I don't see any changes. Shooting RAW with lens detection + UV/IR correction, the writing times and preview times don't seem to have changed. Whatever those "optimised internal processes" are ...

Bit disappointing the video mode is only 720p though...

Loaded mine with no problems but didn't see any difference either. Basically, they gave us just enough to encourage us to buy the new lens and that's it. Leica doesn't do much to engender the loyalty they seem to so desperately want.

😕 What is to be perfected in the Auto-ISO of the M8? You can set max ISO and minimum time. What do you want more?
