M8 image embargo date

So is there a firm date on when those reviewers who have M8 DNGs in their hot little hands can release them? Or are they all waiting for final firmware first?

I can't want this camera
 
Essentially, once we have production cameras to test, we can publish on file quality. I'm expecting one next week.

Well, if it's any consolation, I will have to send it back to Leica at some point and wait for my own.

You wouldn't need an assistant for that test would you... ...and wouldn't want to put the camera through its paces in the "real world" conditions of New York City street photography... ;)
 
I'm only interested if the supposed-to-be ver.1.0 firmware does make any difference from ver.0.32 ... ;)
 
I meant what Sean will be able to do. Shoot, review and post what he shot. I saw that one image snuck out by someone. I want more, B&W, hi ISO. I want it all. And Powerball tickets that win too.

PM me and I will send you the shipping address to the West Coast, super secret Leica M8 return depot. That way you know you will be returning it to the correct address :D
