I really enjoyed these photos!!! Do you have to visualize the scene differently when taking IR photos? I know that the wave length of IR is different forcing you to focus at a different point than perceived by the eye.

for monochrome IR, it's pretty easy, although I captured in color and converted in picasa. With the M8, you only give up a stop or two with this filter. The hard thing is anything moving since you have a slower exposure and have to worry about focus.
On the Canon 28 I have an IR mark so I would focus, then move the focus point a bit past (closer) than the mark. On the lux, I would just move the focus closer by a couple of notches on the dof scale. Pretty much need to use trial and error, and bracket when you can for the best focus.
