M8 ISO 1250 color JPGs - not too bad (large image)

Usually if the light isn't good enough for 640 in color mode, I switch to b/w, but here's an OK ISO 1250 color photo with the pre-asph lux @ f1.7. Shutter was very slow 1/11th, so a bit of softness is here.

The noise is there, notice the upper left blue sleeping bag, but not too bad.

The M8 is fine at 1250 around 5000k, but falls apart fast in in lower temps.

What I do in those cases is I lower the saturation of the Green channel for the M8 camera profile in Lightroom.

I had some " natural daylight" lights that are around 5K that were shining toward the cats about 5 meters away, mixed in with some 2900k soft light further away. Of course, I had to do a custom WB shot in the mixed lighting.
