M8/M9 users that have an Epson 3800. Your impressions?

I bought an Epson 3800 for my M8 and am blown away by the quality for the price ($899 with rebates). I especially like this printer with the new Epson Exhibition Fiber Glossy (Atlex.com has very good prices). I have been in the darkroom since 1987, and this stuff is great. I feel this makes my M8 do (mostly) what all of my film cameras combined are capable of (M6, Fuji GSW 690, etc,,).

My Noctilux and M8 especially shine, especially with red warm tones on this printer/paper combo.

I love this stuff. Who else?

I'm with you. The 3800 prints are amazing. The Exhibition paper is unmatched for depth. I would highly recommend the 3800 to anyone looking for real gallery quality professional prints - especially black and white.

For those who don't know: They just released a 3880.
