Hm, even in Montecarlo one needs a tele outside the paddock. But perhaps somebody with paddock access is a member here?

FYI....Teh FIA is so resrcitive about press and photo approvals it is nuts. So it woudl need to be some person who has been"given" a VIP necklace or team sponsor pass. Our publication tried to get this done a couple of times but the cost just does not justify the pain.
I suggest you go "Planet_F1.com" very good photos.
Should a M8 happen to appear that would be interesting but, I wont hold my breath.

I had a VIP pass for an F1 race, I couldn't see anything. But it did result in obtaining free wine and cheese.

The VIP pass was great to get into the Porsche Supercup garages. And of course, the F1 engines screaming at 19,000 rpm and the incredibly fast gear changes were audio treats. But that could be heard anyway, no need for a pass.

Just excellent, digitalintrigue! USGP of 2000 is the closest we get. So far. The real Monaco GP is tomorrow with expected rain. Anyone there?
Talking of Grand Prix; over here in Europe we are watching the The Eurovision Song Contest transmitted from Beograd, Serbia. Anyone with a M8 there?

Oh! 10 years ago I worked as a Bartender at the Siemens Stand and right next to us was the SHELL stand, at the MTL GP. Jackie Stewart came and gave a small intimate and private interview (no press). Very interesting!

Were you in Belgrade last night during the Eurovision Song Contest? We watched the show on TV. It is the sort of TV program that everybody disgusts, but everybody see. It was technically a very good show that was brought to us from Serbian TV. But the voting went along predictable ethnic/national lines. And the songs were the usual 'bla bla' covered in glitter and make up.
- The Norwegian contender, Maria Haukaas Storeng - link here: http://www.mariaweb.no/ could hardly walk about on stage in high heeled shoes, being used to wearing jogging shoes and jeans back home. And she 'kissed' the microphone and smeared lip stick around. We were lying flat on the floor of laughter.
Russia won, Norway on fifth.

Looks like this was shot from the pit side of the strait way, in which case he is going the correct direction. I was there for all 4 days and never saw anyone going the wrong way. Now i you mean that the Indy GP is run reverse from other F1 races, then you are correct. I had a great seat right at turn 1. Took my R8 and R lenses.

While some were watching the procession in Monaco, I was snapping a rather more sedate racing pastime in Vienna.
They're not quite F1 fast, but these trotting horses were passing fairly quickly. Chainsaw it may be, but my handheld M8 (with Summarit 90) at 1/6000th seems to have done an adequate job of stopping the action.
