M8, Noctilux & Frankenfinder

.... back from Solms.

An M8 with a red line, a backfocusing Noctilux and a leaky Frankenfinder libelle. It took 4,5 weeks, although I was warned it would take six. Leica had updated my M8 with the latest 1,201 update. - The AWB is far better than before. Holy Moses! That was an improvement! The Noctilux, which backfocused 10 cm at 2 meters, now seems so closer to perfect than my eyesight - which is far from perfect. The little dot in the Frankenfinder libelle is dancing about as it should.

....and I am off to Singapore & Malaysia Thursday this week, so this was 'just in time'.

Congrats, Olsen. You can finally enjoy the Noctilux! So ErikFive was right! Be sure to post in the Noctilux shots thread.

Would you ever consider having the Canon 50/1.0 L adjusted? I am very curious to see the performance of that lens, especially head to head with your Noctilux. Keep us posted and enjoy your trip!
