Well, what rhymes with "banker" and is considered a typical English insult?

Is it a quiz?
I'm neither cockney or native English.
I didn't see this question neither in TOEFL nor in GMAT
I don't think I should have to know all the rhymes on each occupation existing.
Moreover I do not think you know ANY rhyme in Russian, guys.

merchant banker rhymes with wanker which is English slang for a gentleman with a penchant for playing his own pink oboe.
ok?

I'm not a Dentist, but

I'm not a Dentist, but

both of my dentists were so impressed with the M8(I let them both use my M8 for a day), that my Oral Surgeon bought an M8 to go with his 'original' MP. My regular dentist sold off his Nikon F5 and glass, to buy his M8. They are both very happy, and I will be installing the new FW Update for them tomorrow.

Another Poll?

Another Poll?

Next poll will be: are you an investment banker/a former investment banker...

Ha Ha Ha :)

I think the next one should be : Are you a lefty or a righty ?

.....and NO, I don`t mean political beliefs. :bang:

Regards,
Al

When I was at the LUF meeting at Solms this year it was surprising how few Leica owners were medical professionals. In the international group we had a professor of economics, a financial advisor, a building contractor, two IT professionals, a teacher, a pharmaceutical executive and a dentist (me). What was surprising was that I estimate over 80% of the 140 persons present, over half of them M8 owners, to have an University degree.

And of course this archetypal Leica owner...

Hmmm, I would far prefer my dentist to be into the 'fantastic machining accuracy and perfection of the Leica/Alpa' than rave on about his admiration for Holgas and Lubitels.

A dentist I used to see had a thing about old MG's.

Often he'd be deep into the innards of a car and covered in oil when I arrived.

Even though he scrubbed up for my treatment it wasn't too nice thinking that his hands had been dismantling a starter motor five minutes earlier.

I don't think he had a camera, although he did have some pretty impressive hifi in his room, and that's a close cousin of photography.

Classic! What a great shot, congratulations!!

Hell, I only got me 3 credit hours worth of college education (with a straight 4.0 average!) so Im not sure if I can handle the complexities involved in the math of calculating the percentage of M8's in the hands of dentists, the percentage of dentists in the general population, or whether M8's are more appealing to female dentists than they are to male dentists. When my first wife worked for a company that sold Leisegang colposcopes they came equipped with a Leica MD body, but a lot of customers would get them without the Leica MD and use their own M2 or M3 body. That was long before digital came along. I guess you could use a colposcope for shooting intra oral pictures.

My radiologist's xrays all come out slightly purple instead of black, so I imagine he also has an M8. That or he's not leaving em in the fixer long enough.

I don't think your radiologist has a M8 otherwise he'll know how to correct the purple cast-UV/IR filters! :D:D
Am I a dentist?
