M8 production run ?

Will the production of the M8 series end with the advent of the M9 ?

It sure looks that way. In the new M9 brochure that appeared today, no mention is made of the M8 or 8.2 in the back part of the brochure that shows all of Leica's current camera lineup.

Yes. The M8 and M8.2 are not in the supposedly genuine and leaked product brochure.

So the M8 is gone. But M8 repair and service will still be around because the M9 uses a lot of the same parts and components. The only difference between the two appears to be the framelines and sensor.
