Nice portrait combo: M8 with Carl Zeiss Jena Sonnar 180/2,8 T. I use a visoflex 3 with bellows on which i fitted the lens head of the Sonnar. The videoflex becomes so much more usable if you don't have to cock a shutter manually all the time!
The sonnar 180 is the coated version of the famous Olympia lens that Zeiss developed for Leni Riefenstahl to document the '36 Berlin Olympics. Not ultra sharp due to a bit of CA. very nice for portraits though...

Willem, I've just got one of these to use on my 5D - it's a beautiful lens (and a beautiful photo, btw).
At f5.6 it's as sharp as my L series Canon lenses, and wide open - well, your photo says it all!
