My daughter Dana was working with a volunteer group from her school in a 4-hour beach clean-up from trash, so I had some time take photos at the beach.
This Zeiss Tessar 50/2.8 came to me as a modified SLR lens for M42 mount into LTM many years ago from en ebay seller in Italy. It definitely needs shimming as the RF in the M8 shows me a huge difference in non-aligned two images when I focus beyond a few yards. I set the lens on aperture 16, and hoped for acceptable results somehow. Using an old lens on a digital (old!) camera can produce nice looking images. My "other" camera here was the M240 with a Pentax-M adapted into M mount (by Roland). This is for later. At one point, I switched the two lenses between M8 and M240.

These are some images from my walk at our beaches yesterday. I will add images once I have some time for it again. I used LR5 to make very small changes, and then LR5 saved it as jpg files.
