All with the CV Heliar Classic 50/2 anniversary edition lens. Which I think is lovely.

Honestly, the B&W JPEGs out of the camera, along with Silver Efex Pro 2, give film a run for its money and this comes from a long-time B&W darkroom geek.
I think one key to getting good B&W results from the M9 is using lower contrast, high sharpness lenses, like the Heliar Classic, the CV Ultrons and early Leica glass like my 1st version Summilux and '51 35/3.5 Summaron.

Superb name for a ginger cat ... and great texture on the cover.

We're both part Scot (I reckon, she's a fury), so how else could I name my ginger companion? And thank you for the kind words!

Great photo and cool processing of that shot Chris. Another I-don't-need-the-Monochrom-after-all shot.

Thanks Richard - I was lucky to find the light reflecting down into the street so nicely between the buildings. It's a fairly new section of town and still pretty smart looking. And I'm still loving what I can do with those M9 raw files.

I really like this. There is a stark, graphic quality about it.
I just got a copy of this lens and I'm looking forward to trying it on my M9.

Agreed. One can sense the tension in the atmosphere.
Some shots of mine, first time shooting after a hiatus of almost a year...M9 + 35mm 1.2, iso 1600.
