A Harley and his owner
A Harley and his owner
Took a stroll through town today as spring has finally arrived. Went to grab a photo of this Harley and before I could take the snap the owner showed up. Asked if I could grab a photo and invited him into the scene.

M9-P with CV 90/3.5 APO (guess the aperture? No cheating!)
You'll just have to imagine the in-focus bits about twice as sharp as this looks - it actually is in Lightroom at least.

Congratulations Tennesse. The M9 and you and that lens are a good match. Subject's good too.

Thank you! And she is!
It's a lovely camera. Using it like an m6 at the moment, except for trying out colour for the first time in years...

Hi Chris- I like the look of the bark and soft colors here. I am thinking it is stopped down some because the background is quite discernible and there must be quite a bit of distance between the subject tree and the more distant ones.... That said, I know you'll say it is wide-open....I didn't look

Hi - I had to check the exif myself! From memory I had the lens stopped down at least one stop. The exif says f/5.7 (the M9 doesn't have a direct reading from the lens setting, and estimates the aperture from the light reading). I think 5.6 is probably right.
