Here is what I saw the other night with the M9/Amotal combo. I glimpsed up and looked out the window to see this setting sun at the southwestern tip of Washington State, nearly as far north as it will march. Out of all the cameras I have the M9/Amotal was the one I instinctively reached for.

The M9 remains my favourite camera. One from a couple of days ago.

Recent discovery - if I use auto exposure and set compensation to +1, Color Skopar gives correct exposures and no magenta in the corners.

I've been to this spot literally hundreds of times but this is the only one I can recall such beautiful light. Luckily I had with me the perfect camera for capturing colors -- the original LEICA M9.
