Before you consider selling that Color Skopar 21/4.0 LTM after shooting it on your M9, find the application "Cornerfix",(http://sourceforge.net/projects/cornerfix/). Cindy Flood turned me on to it, and I can say that I am going to hold on the sale...
Quite a bit of cyan shift on the original image, despite being manually shot as Super Angulon 21/3.4, and Elmarit 21/2.8. Cornerfix is quite good, in my opinion, after shooting a white posterboard, and making profiles on all 21/28/ and even 35 mm lenses I have. The best example is the 21 Color Skopar...

There is NO Heliar 21 AFAIK, yet there is a Skopar. Or there is a Heliar 15mm.

Does anyone know if it works with the Epson R-D1 files?

They say it works on "most" including Sony NEX.

I knew instantly what you meant to say, its hardly worth being pedantic about typo's is it!
Yes its a great little programme and a great little lens when combined with the M9. Been using Cornerfix for a while now, glad you found it, the image is very nice.

I tested my 21mm on my NEX before selling and it was good. No problems. 15mm has quite a lot purple corners all over but when you shoot video it is not very visible though. Interesting...
Another reason not to buy M9 besides its price

Don't agree with the logic there, but I am not surprised the app works for NEX...

+1 Cornerfix works well for me, have used it on files from a CV 15 and a ZM 18/4 with good results. Like Michael, I spent a few moments shooting and loading profiles (I just used f8 - close enough for me), ran a few tests, liked what I saw, then donated.

Pretty amazing how well it works, eh, Mike?

Yep, it surely is, Michael. Cleans the files right up, batch-mode too. How do you like Cornerfix for your mid-wides, btw?

EXIF of the photo shows camera thought FocalLength is 35mm. wonder would correct FL improved the initial results. am not having big issues using 15mm on my M8.

guess its old news, but didnt realize corner problem to be so visible.
wonder if Leica is planning to improve this with new M9 firmware.

but I am not surprised the app works for NEX...
The only annoyance is that the NEX does not shoot DNG natively and CornerFix only supports DNG files. I've taken the habit of importing NEX RAW files as DNG in Lightroom, which makes the conversion transparent.

Mid-wides
Mid-wides
I have used it for the 35/1.2 Nokton, occasionally. I will post one, but there are only a few which needed it.
I will post one I used it for on the Canon 50/1.2. Not any color shift discernable, but it cleaned up some of the vignetting wide open.
I will post that tonight...

I have read there is an update coming this spring.
I don't mind using Cornerfix until then.
It is an extra step in the workflow at the beginning, but in batch mode, it is really fast.

no, the problem is that your m9 and 21mm are a piece of outdated crap and you need to release your burdens and give them to me
