Having serious trouble with my two current M9 power suppliers, they last about 6 hours when charged, I ordered two new ones.

My question. Are there things/actions that can lengthen or shorten the lifespan of those new batteries. Tip or tricks, or just words of wisdom.

... power suppliers ? Orig. Leica $$$ or some cheapo knock offs?
I have no loss of power when the camera is not in use and I get about 400 shots (16gb card) raw only with one fresh battery. I don't use the auto replay and have the auto power off set to 2min.
If the battery is lasting only 6hrs, there is definitely something wrong (6hrs in the camera and not in use that is).

Same here, virtually no loss of power in storage, battery lasts thru 3-4 2GB cards. I do not use auto review, 2 min to sleep, and I rarely chimp. And 2 of my batteries are from '06 and were used with my M8, only one battery is from '10 with the M9. I keep my batteries in the fridge when not being used. That's supposed to lengthen the lifespan of LiION batteries. Also supposed to store them @ 1/2 charge but I never manage to get them off the charger before they're full.
