It seems we have an issue with some of the links in this thread so I am going to edit so out.

Spec shows an 80mm tall body - isn't the M8 taller, like 84mm? The M7 is shown as 79.5mm, the MP as 77mm.
 
BTW, unless someone can point to an identical brochure that this was hacked from, I can't imagine anyone going through the trouble of spoofing something like this. Smells legit to me.
 
I don't think that this is part of the marketing campaign. It must be the fault of a webmaster that this is already accessible.

Interesting: ISO range 80 to 2500. No High ISO race. Better than 160 to 6400!
 
Did anyone download a copy of this as it does not appear to be available now. Not unexpected i suppose.:D

The screen is probably limited by the adherence to the basic form factor of an M-camera. I mean it looks like the chassis is practically the same as for the M8/.2, even the slightly too thick screen and button unit looks the same. That is a little sad, I had hoped for a thinner house. Otherwise though they seem to have hit the jackpot.

Going to full frame is nice. 16 bit RAW files is spectacular, and going the other way with ISO is also unprecedented. Removing /8000s was really a bummer with the M8.2, but ISO 80 fixes that. A question is why they still limit the sensitivity to ISO 2500. If it produces a clean file at that sensitivity now, that is probably enough for my (and most) photography. It is rather the Zeiss way to go, you shouldn't use higher ISO so we won't let you.

They also allude to the IR problem being solved, without a moire filter, thus keeping the high maximum resolution.

Damn, if it goes for less than $10000, I might have to get one.

No new lenses in the brochure, which is a bit disappointing, but back to the M9, at least the boxer's black nylon shirt is very black ( unlike the purple shots used for the M8 ).
