M9-P stopped reading all but one of my SD cards

Solved (Sort of)
I inserted the Eye-Fi memory card along with a small thin piece of cardboard and the card works again. It transmits just fine, etc. I am just never going to remove the card again, transferring images via Eye-Fi or cable. I have never filled up 16gb in one shoot so this should work fine.

Thank you all for the many suggestions. It is not an elegant solution, but it will work for now.

I use Lexar Pro 16GB SHDC cards in my M9 and MM and never had any issues.
Good luck with your repair though.

Another note:
Although it is not an elegant solution, it works. I am reminded from a portion of Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance by Robert Pirsig wherein he tells of his riding companion who could not fathom using a metal shim made from a soda can to fix his handlebars on his precision, German-engineered BMW motorcycle. The protagonist can't see how this is a problem.

I can't help but see at least a couple of similarities. Pirsig's protagonist did go crazy after all.

Cheers!

So we are back to recommending to you to contact Leica about your M9.
Yes and no - the SD slot itself is a cheap part - only a few Euro, but the camera has to be dismantled completely to change it, driving labor costs sky-high. The solution the OP found appears to be sensible if it works for him.
