M9 Review...

I thought you might be interesting this long (13 pages) M9 review.

I can't muster up the energy to read the whole nine pages but one thing I did notice is the review is peppered with some very over saturated (IMO) images.

A video of someone unboxing their new $7000.00 camera sort of loses me too I'm afraid!

Might go and check K R's site I think.

I would much rather watch the "Will it Blend" guys with an M9

Just from scrolling over it pretty quickly : I'm not sure I understand his reasoning to add vigetting for some shots - I rather prefer to get the straight truth but overall it seems to have quite a bit of useful info for someone eager to read another M9 review in order to convince himself that GAS is justified .

I take reviews of new camera's with a grain of salt if any of the following apply to the person reviewing:

-has just bought one of the first one's
-is a dealer
-has a chip on his shoulder re the brand and/or its users
-has a love affair for the brand
-is asked by the mfr to write a review
-works for a publication that Leica advertises in
-requires subscribing to read his reviews

Unfortunately that covers just about everybody who writes reviews Which is why I prefer to do my own hands-on research before I buy. Especially when the cost is in high 4 figures

Well...
of course it's clear it's fanboy, still a 13-pages reviews worths however to be at least looked at !
