How often can i use the eco developer from maco? Do i have to dilutte the whole bottle of 1ltr developer with 12 ltr of water at once or can i just make what i need and then re-use the diluted part again for new film with adding extra time to the development? Like it is done with kodak's D76.

thanks!

It seems that it has to be used as a one-shot developer. You dilute only the amount you need to fill your tank (1 part dev. + 12 parts water) and discard after usage. I suspect that it doesn't keep very well when diluted, so you should only mix the amount of developer that you are going to use immediately. Please note this is basically a print developer, I would expect it to work rather contrasty. A classic film developer concentrate like T-Max, HC-110 or Ilfosol might be the better choice for developing films.

and can you also use for pushed tri-x to 1600?
maybe 8 or 9 minutes instead of the 6 minutes @400?

it is a bit contrasty but not as much rodinal :) and the grain is pretty big to, so that's good (if you like it).

I don't have personal experience with this developer, you will have to find out yourself and report back here :)
