Magenta ++ Source ?

]I recently shot Reala 35mm with an M6 and a 35 Summicron Asph. I used a Polariser filter, developed at the CVS that I always do.
This roll turned put with a slight magenta cast, much worse in some frames (particularly in the shadows- as in the attached picture) , and almost absent in one sunny shot.
So... is it the film, lens, polariser, or the developing ? Some of this can be corrected in LR3, but it is annoying, and has never happened before. The film, tho' refrigerated, may have been expired a year or so.
Wonder if anyone has any ideas ?

I had some expired reala that did the same...

Expired Reala, 400H and 800Z do this every time I overexpose them.

Magenta is almost a Reala signature-a few other films as well-on my scanner. Easy to remove.
