Magnifier?

Does anyone have a 1.x magnifier for an R-D1? I really want magnifier/diopter. My focus is consistently lousy at 50mm on this camera.

Though there is a problem if you live in the U.S. or Germany due to patent issues.

Yeah, I can't order it online. I'm looking for someone who wants to re-sell to me.

The web site states it can not be sold for rangefinder use in the US but can be used on a SLR camera, so just order it for a SLR?
