After several months of hemming and hawing, I sent my m6 to DAG Camera Repair to have the flare-free optics installed and the 75/135 framelines removed. The waiting begins........😛

If your M6 has a 0.72 finder the combination of the new parts and a good CLA is quite startlingly excellent. I was much less impressed with the change on my 0.85 M7.

He is already finished with it. Finished it yesterday in fact. It is now in the mail back to me. Pretty quick turn-around I'd say.

Adding the flare-resistant optics is a quick-simple repair. He usually turns these around pretty fast, especially if you ask for it.

You were lucky... go and buy a lottery ticket to ride the wave! He took forever to align the rangefinder in one of my M6TTL bodies.

But then, I was busy using my other cameras. 🙂

Congratulations on the new, refurbished toy! 🙂

I just got my M8 back from the frameline upgrade, twenty days total round trip- and I heard my M3 is finished, should be back soon as well. Now when they finish up on my MP repair in Solms I'll have everybody home and in regular use again. Till I drop something.
