I'm going to mail my film to Precision for the dev/scanning special.

This is kind of a dumb question but I really don't know. If you were standing next to me i'd probably ask you casually.

How do you package your film and how much postage is 1-2 rolls of film?

I usually don't send just 1-2 rolls at a time. I do at least 5-6. Then I just go to the PO and send it Priority in the small flat rate box. You get a package and ~2-day shipping for $5. If you send 5-10 rolls at a time, it's not that expensive.

Alternately, you could get a bubble wrap envelope, the ones that are about 6x9, and stuff that full. Should cost you $1-2 first class.

Film Mailing costs

Hi,

I mailed 6 rolls of 35mm today to NCPS in CA. It cost exactly $2.07 First Class Mail from Long Island, NY. I always put the film rolls in a plastic sandwich baggy which I then put in a 6x9" bubble mailer which i bought in bulk from Staples.🙂

Varies. 3 stamps for a mailer with one roll of either 120 or 35mm. $2.07 for a box of 4x5 in an envelop, or $5 for a box of rolls with bubble wrap. USPS is nothing if not predictable. For the most part.
