Just came across this over on Kirk Tuck's blog - the HRC at the University of Texas in Austin is hosting a major exhibition of fibre prints of Arnold Newman's portraits. Most were shot in 4x5 large format.
Arnold Newman's Stravinsky portrait is one of my all-time favourites.
Wow that is so cool. Newman is one of my favorite portrait photographers. I also really like the portrait of Mondrian. Love the way he used the easel as a grib and put his hand in a spot the Mondrian would put a primary color.
