Hi!

Four weeks ago I bought a Makina 67 RF and I like it very much…

But I need for this camera a correction lens -2…I can`t find that, and I´m looking through the whole internet…
Does anyone know where to get this correction lens (it has a 17mm screw in)? Sometimes I read that you could use the Nikon correction lens, but that is not right, the Nikon has 19mm screw in).

I`m very happy if somebody knows where to get the lens🙂 - thanks!

Technically there is no need to get one of the (rare) mounted dioptre correction lenses - you can also use bare glass correcting dioptres, the eyepiece protecting ring will do as a locking ring. There is enough gap to hold a thin correcting lens, and enough material on the ring to file down for a thicker (plastics) lens. Simply take the camera to your optician and have a suitable circular dioptre lens made...

I didn't want to create a new thread since this was titled perfectly. Just wanted to share a Plaubel Makina shot I took from a recent trip to Seattle.

Hope you enjoy your Makina 67, MM, a fine and useful format... A good looking photo where you caught a transitory beam of sunlight! Aboard one of the big ferries for the shot? Can't say it looks familiar now, as I haven't been out on a ferry for many years, though the piers are familiar and Ivar's Acres of Clams is of course a landmark on the waterfront.

That's exactly right 🙂

We were just about to dock off from the terminal when I took the shot. Good eye!

@mangamonster Nice shot of my hometown!

Back to the original topic of diopters, I came across some thread somewhere that said you can use Leica threaded diopters on the Plaubel Makina.
