After a long search I am unable to find email information for Malcolm. I called his phone but no reply. I will try again but does he ever have an email?

Does he still do the repairs?

Thanks,

There is no internet connection in Malcolm's place, not even any mobile phone reception :)

Remember there is also Peter at CRR in Luton.

I believe Malcolm stopped using email some time ago due to the sheer volume of messages he was getting asking for advice, verification / identification of cameras, could he recommend a camera on ebay etc. etc. All of which took up considerable time and generated little or no business for him whilst delaying the work of paying customers.

And for for what it is worth, Peter at CRR is unable to repond to email. Phone is the only solution. These people are in high demand and have few resources apart from themselves. Servicing and repairs are fairly straightforward and quantifiable but requests for restoration and repainting etc must be hard to handle and almost impossible to schedule.

Malcolm is usually around and quick to answer his phone - I spoke to him only yesterday.

If you haven't used Malcolm before, I thoroughly recommend him: courteous, helpful and professional. If it's a straightforward job, like a lens service, he often turns it around within 3 weeks. And I think his prices are fair.

Malcolm took care of my abused Summicron a couple of months ago. No internet connections, emails or mobiles I think. You can only reach him by phone. Amazing service. Cannot recommend him enough. I only wish I won't be needing him in the near future.
