See what I stumbled upon
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Modified-Mamiya-6-camera-Hasselblad-V-mount-digital-back-50mm-75mm-lens-/260950786572?pt=Digital_Cameras&hash=item3cc1e1020c
I've seen professional photogs using custom made 6x9 rangefinders to shoot 120, but this is the first time I see film rangefinder modified to take digital back.
Usual disclaimer - no association with seller.

The digital back may cost as much as a small car. This set-up would be good for someone who already is using such a back with another camera.

why would you do that to a lovely 6 ?? :bang:

A professional photographer who needs digital backs that provide very detailed digital images may want such a set-up if a MF RF camera is also needed somehow. Else, it is a waste of a good film camera.

That listing had me laughing. Seller modifies the camera, then someone asks if it can be used with film. You just can't satisfy everyone.

I suspect this body suffered a broken advance mechanism with no hope of a solution...except this.

It's not a Hasselblad CFV Back, so I think it would require a tethered laptop to function.
Not very portable..........

Yes his blog is pretty impressive.
The PhaseOne H10 is a tethered back, utilizing a Dalsa 11MPx Sensor. Street value about 2K. Very noisy over ISO100, I have read.
Interesting combo, could be good for studio.

I somehow stumbled on this thread because I think the 6 would be great with a MF digital back option.
That being said.. the Hasselblad can be use with either (film or digital) no modifications.
BTW the only cable my Leaf Aptus needs is a PC to the shutter, then the flash is run from the back. Although the 500cm has a mechanism that comes out and punches a slot on the Leaf-Back also. Sync is sometimes quirky.
