Hi there, I have broken my 80mm Mamiya lens hood.
I have tried to look for a genuine replacement, which is very hard to find in the UK.
I was wondering if anyone knows a good alternative to the original 80mm len hood?
Cheers

Thanks Petri. I had found a used original hood but I've just ordered this one as it's quite cheap to see if it fits well.

My second hand M7 didn't come with a hood so I just bought one of these.

Was hoping it would arrive today. The price is right
Anyone have one yet?

I've actually bought it too. It's a massive beast...when mounted on the 80mm lens, it obstructs quite a bit in the VF. After that I have found a used original hood.

This hood fits like a glove. It's couple of millimeters longer than the original hood, but I have not noticed any vignetting. I have also not used any filters with the hood - I think that this metallic ebay hood protects the front element very well*. Also it does not obstruct the viewfinder view more than the stock hood.
*well, I never use filters anyway...
