Mamiya 7 leather half case

I am looking for at half cases for my Mamiya 7II which I bought with a broken base plate. I have replaced it with a new base plate and I think that a case will be excellent protection from another fall.

I have one for an Ikon...it's quite nice. The leather is thick and smooth, but not too smooth so that you can't grip it. The inside is lined with felt. Like cases made decades ago, except you smell leather and not mold.

I've never used a leather half-case, but I noticed that there is no attachment of the camera to the case. The camera just sits in the case. Is this really secure?

It attaches with a screw for the tripod socket. Two screw designs are available.

I was looking for this in the photos, but didn't see the hole for the attachment. I should have looked at all the photos..duh..thx.
