Im not much into "sharpness" and all that but just wondering if anybody has used both systems and has experienced any difference between the two lenses (same focal lengths).

someone on rff did a lens comparison test several years ago...but i don't think he ever posted the results.

I got rid of the Mamiya system for the GF670, that was over two years ago. I mostly travel, and when I'm around town I usually carry a camera, this was a huge factor for me. Something about the ergonomics of the GF670 really work for me. The Mamiya was great, but I just couldnt connect with it.

have you considered a fuji gm670? much less expensive than your other two options, fully mechanical, amd ability to change lenses.

I have the GF670 for about 1.5 years now, and its a stunning camera.

Before I bought this, a few other cameras were shortlisted based on 6x7 format as well as price. The Mamiya 7 & 7ii were one of them, but due to the price and size of the camera, it lost out to the GF670. The strength of the Mamiya 7 is the ability to change lens, but, the GF670 unassuming size, portability and ability to switch to 6x6, beat the Mamiya 7.

The view finder of the GF, built in meter (yes M7 also has it), but the GF has a better reputation for reliability.

Prints on 12 x 16 from the GF are superb, and I would rate this camera 10 / 10 if you are looking for a 6x7 format for travel or daily carry.

Thanks guys......technically speaking I love my g f 670. There isn't a quieter camera out there and the viewfinder is so nice and bright, but i just can't connect with the feel of it.
