A couple from the M7

A couple from the M7

Only have an Epson flatbed for the scans, but the adapter can be fun to play with once in a while.

Todd, that's a pretty impressive performance. I didn't think / expect to see the images looking so good right thru the frame. I see little light fall off or distortion. Pretty cool, sort of a "letterbox" shot. Was this the 43 mm lens?

I use the 80mm Jan. I also realized I forgot to switch the pressure plate to 135...DOH!

Pressure plate... the image didn't seem to suffer.. ! Its amazing actually. I would seriously think about a 7II after seeing your shots but I've got a "6" and I think I have to stop there. I can see why people love that camera.

What's the advantage over shooting 6x7 and then cropping? (Except cheaper film, probably.)

Thanks for the images.

I have a feeling that a cropped 6x7 neg (to 24 x 65mm) is easier to scan than a 135 format 24 x 65 neg. Same film I am talking about.

Anyone with similar experience?

I am currently using an RZ67, sometimes cropped to 24x 65, but would like to try out the M7II for its convenience also (but it's expensive!!)
