Hi,
I just received a Mamiya 7 swing-out polarizer with adapter for my M6. It cost $119 used, but I'm wondering if I really want to keep it. One thing I noticed is that I can't use another filter with it. Of those that have one, do you find yourself using it? Usually I use a standard polarizer just held in front of the lens, and thought the Mamiya would be easier to use. Any opinions? Also, through a meter it reads a one-stop decrease (most other polarizers read 2-2.5 stops). Does that agree with your experience?
thanks

actually you can use other filters. the swing out polarizer has 77mm threads. personally i use the heliopan linear polarizer. it has numbered steps. you hold the filter alone and get the effect you want and just put it on the lens are set it back to the dialed in number on the filter.

I do the same way, i just marked my Käsemann by myself for similar usability. I didn´t like the usability of Mamiya´s ZE702 and sold it.
