I am using a Mamiya RB67 Pro-S with a forked cable release.
Placing the shutter on T is NOT giving me an extended shutter. Any ideas?
The 'whirr' of the open shutter that lasts for a second when using a 1 shutter is not there, it just opens and closes instantly.

?????:bang:

Dude.

I just replied to this question that you had posted in another area of the forum. I see that you are newly posting but you've lurked here for a few months. I will offer some friendly and free (if unsolicited) advice. When someone replies to a question that you post, it is generally though of as 'not good netiquette' to ignore their reply and just repost your question in another part of the same forum.

If you scroll waaay down, you will see a dismal dark section of this forum called "Evil SLRs". As the RB is a SLR (and surely one of the most evil) I would suggest that you post (one more time) down there, where people who USE those cameras will se and reply to you. Then when they do, answer them back.

I certainly didn't mean to ignore you. I realized after I posted on the other forum that my question was ill-placed so I just went for the "general photography" section before I ever saw your reply.
I assure you that my mistakes are symptoms of a lack of experience and not of malice or arrogance. Regardless, I apologize.
Thanks for the help.

Oh I know that you are a newbie, I wasn't trying to be mean or anything, but more to clue you in. Ignoring replies is rampant on sites like DPR and so the quality of informtion is very low there. The standard here is considerably higher, and people generally behave as if they actually know each other.

By the way, welcome to RFF Alex. (Had I thought you were being mean, I wouldn't have replied [strike]twice[/strike] thrice!)
