I perused that website yesterday and I have to say, I'd be very happy to hang a lot of those photos on my wall. The guy was obviously very intelligent and understood his "hobby" very well, the composition is always excellent.

Pretty good eye. It is also the case that with time, even quotidian pictures take on a certain interest. These are a nice collection, and lovingly curated.

Thanks. Nice photos. Talented photographer. Wonder why there was a 20 year gap in his photography.

Enjoyed this very much and I'll go back to the website looking for more. What a perfect name for a photographer too.

Wow, what a great collection and eye. Jack Sharp knew his stuff. I'd be proud to have shot some of those images.

I think it is a Volkswagen Karmann Ghia.

Good pictures become better when they are outdated a bit; they withstand the time.
These pictures deserve certainly a book.

Even not-so-good pictures become better with time. Maybe not great but certainly interesting to look at. But these are good. The person who took them obviously had a passion for photography. Is there a greater photographic compliment than having people look at your photographs with admiration after you are long gone? I don't think.

very nice. amazing what comes to surface with time. wonder how will it be in future, as photography has so dramatically increased in past 20-30 years. will similar gems be lost in future?

That is very cool. I really like the Eiffel tower shot where the top half is show in reflection on the bottom and the two people are on the right with the statues (reflections of people) on the left.

I think it is a Volkswagen Karmann Ghia.
Hard car to identify, I've been looking for awhile. Not sure it is a Volkswagen Karmann Ghia though. Most seem to have more rectangular tail lights, the very simple round lights on that car rule out a bunch of cars. You can't really see the fender flair of the Ghia or the vents over the engine. If the square on the quarterpanel is a fuel door (which seems unusual for that time period) it shouldn't be a Karmann Ghia as the tank is up front.
Using translate on the sign and the spectators on the sides of the road it looks is a picture during a car show. So it might be something rare.
I found a bunch of cars that are similar but nothing that was definitely it though. It has elements of Aston Martin, Alfa Romeo 1900, Ferrari 250 Europa, Maserati A6 and a bunch of others too. Might be a design of Carrozzeria Ghia as it has that look.
