"Manual" focussing screen for Nikon DSLR's

Hi I've seen them for cheap on the bay and I've seen other offers.
How difficult is it to install such a foccussing screen yourself?
Does anybody have experiences with them.
The idea itself sounds reasonable as D40's are very cheap right now and a D40 body with such a feature would be a nice complement for my Nikon gear.

I used Katzeye screen, the best there is really, pretty easy, I installed two on my D200, just pop the old one out, the new one in, I think the D40 will be a bit more difficult but not too much, just remember to wear rubber glove and and a tweezer
