hi, am looking for a soft copy of the manual for this spiffy cam...

i did some searching, but the links i managed to turn up are all dead. can anyone lend a hand?

thanks :D

Don't forget to make a donation to the guy! Just a few bucks via Paypal is a nice thank you for all the scanning he does.

How do you like the camera by the way? I just bought the 645Zi and LOVE it, but I'm not sure I need the zoom. I had to spend all my money to get one in bargain condition from KEH, and it's in pretty bad shape, plus the counter shows 4000 exposures - pretty high in my estimation, so I might return it and get an "i" or maybe even the "S."" How does the "i" differ from the "Zi" other than the loss of the zoom, and can I get a better price on it do you think? I love the lens on the Zi - is the i as good? I may just stay with the battle-tested one I have - man is it a sweet machine - I've only shot a few rolls with it an it is so intuitive - makes medium format a real extension of the eye...

hi matt, sorry for taking so long to reply. i haven't had much time to use the camera, so i didn't really feel like i could answer any of your questions.

i've since put a couple of rolls through it, and right now i have mixed feelings about the camera. the lens is great, and the slides look wonderful. but the camera handling is a little irritating - stuff like not retaining the ev compensation settings after power down, the loud film advance and focusing sounds...

i guess we're back to what everyone says about this... it's a great giant point-and-shoot. and whether that's good or bad depends on what you want. i'm taking it on a long trip as a second camera to see how it fares. at the end of this, i may decide to switch to one of the manual focus mamiya mf rangefinders.

as for the zoom version, sorry never seen one so can't say.
