March is Nikon Rangefinder Month 2020

March in Norway is a bit cold for my camera. Hopefully it will warm up soon.

Obviously not from March, but it ticks many of the other boxes, S3, 35/1.8, Kodak Pro 100, Philadelphia last July.

I just got a Nikkor 105mm 2.5 ltm for my Leica II.
This was the first Nikkor lens to have 52mm filter/lens shade.
ha ha! it's quieter on the Leica than the Nikon. Other
differences from the SLR version is less weight, a rounder
aperture rather than the traditional 6 blades of the SLRs.
With one less element and slight design change. I opted for
the small Canon viewfinder similar in size to the SCNOO rather
than Nikon's expensive one with close focus ajustment.

I am severely lacking in the Nikon RF body department but did recently buy both a Nikkor 105mm f2.5 and a Nikkor 135mm f3.5 (early chrome). And been shooting the heck out of them with an M4/3. They are every bit as good as their reputation.

A few candids shot with the 105mm. Mon Dieu I love this lens. And its 135mm partner - their weight, their feel, their quality. I think I feel more RF Nikkors coming on, they are addictive.

I suppose if we're posting repeats, I'll put up this one from 2018. Happily this place was not torn down as I had feared; its being thoroughly restored.

Do you have an indoor cat, dog or an espresso machine? :)

None of the above, and the apartment is in a mess because I'm in the middle of another rearrangement. Plus I've been busy with some personal matters, but I am ready at a moments notice when the opportunity arises.

I haven't had my S3 very long and have only put a few rolls through it but I'm very impressed so far with the results and all the pics here. In fact shortly I'm going to sell my M2 as it's just been sitting on the sidelines...
