I did mount the 28mm today and took a few, be a while to process though with a busy Easter schedule.

The Ship & Royal at Lytham was once a hotel and is now a public house. In 1978 the Blackpool Gazette featured a story of a ghost nicknamed “Charlie” but implies that the ghost is that of a local who liked to spend time at the inn called “John Talbot Clifton” who died in Tenerife 1928.
This spectre has been know to show himself on the second floor and has been blamed for moving paper work and placing orders for the business by telephone!
It is also believed that the spirit of a Mother and Daughter who both committed suicide by drowning themselves in one of the bathrooms at the beginning of the twentieth century is present. The upper floors of the building have twenty or so rooms which are closed to the public and despite no plumbing to these rooms running tap water is often heard.

The Pyrocat HD and Fomapan Retro 320 has a distinct "grit" to i. Tonal range is fine though. This is close with the 35mm f1.8, new version from a Nikon SP 2005.

I like the grain with this film and developer combination, Tom.

One of the best 50mm lenses made! The Millennium version of the classic Nikkor 50mm f1.4 benefitted from improved coating and is now as a good a 50 as you probably will ever need!

The Heliar 15mm f4.5 feels almost like a normal lens after having shot with the 12mm!
This is the Heliar 15f4.5 in Nikon F mount and the F-S adapter.
Nikon S2, Voigtlander Heliar 15mm f4.5. Orwo UN 54 @ 100 iso in slightly extended Pyrocat HD developer in 1:1:100 dilution.

Nikon SP and Nikkor 35mmf2.5. The lens just came back after my friend gary relubed the focus helicoid. It need a pipe-wrench to turn before It is an early chrome lens #257762 and it is heavy! Orwo UN 54 at 100 iso. I did change developer too, D23 two bath formula. Not as "sharp" as the Pyrocat HD, but with nice mid-tones.

Every year I see Nikon RF month roll on buy and I get closer and closer to pulling the trigger. I think I am now broken. I must participate next year. I know nothing much about them, but they've always intrigued me.

So now I have a year to decide what to get (it will have a 50 on it I think), and how to fund it.
