New York March RFF New York Meet-up?

Man, I'll have to come down from Boston for one of those... sounds awesome.

Just give us a heads up and we will make a date that's convenient for you. As you know the area where John and I performed all those "Death Marches" is the area on a subway map where there are no subways and its basically a vacant/abandoned area.

Once Andre and I went shooting New Years Eve, and it happened to be a work day. It was rather odd seeing people. LOL. There seems to be a projected lonelyness and a real sense of urban decay.

Thanks guys. I'll do my best to make it work. I may be down to visit some friends & family in early summer, so we'll see if I can pull away. Just had a baby a couple of months ago, so time gets tighter and tighter!

Even if I can't round up the guys, PM me and I'll take you on a tour. Summer is a good time. The harsh light and sweat add to the grittyness. Andre once said, "The uglier the better." Tis is an area where you won't find tourists. LOL. Kind of a good place to shoot medium format if you got the gear.

Funny thing is there's this bridge that goes over railroad tracks but under the LIE is about a 5 minute walk from my house. Andre call it, "the bridge to nowhere."

Awesome. When it happens, I'll bring along my 28 cron for sure ;)

Well, sorry to have missed out on last month, folks: too much "stuff" crowding in at the last moment (nothing horrible, just tedious). But, I'm into Cal's meetup idea big-time.

Also, I wanted to give a heads-up about this, which is opening on the 22nd. Would love to have a get-together to see it. Looks hella-good from the trailer. (And we can grouse about the storyline and technical things they got wrong over drinks later.) ;)
