Mark Hama

Has anyone been in contact with Mark Hama lately? I have been trying to contact him; two phone calls in the last week and an email, with no response. I'm trying to discover whether he is refusing my calls or if he is genuinely not available. (And yes - I am allowing for the time zone differences!)

I was in contact with him a few last week and the week before, he did a refurbish of my Lynx 14. He was very prompt on e-mails, sometimes within an hour or so.

I'm going a few weeks further back than Alan C., but he was always quick to get back to me with a phone call. I had a little difficulty early on with an e-mail, as he was overseas visiting family. He did great work on my Canon P, and very fast turnaround. It helped that I live within 30 miles and dropped off / picked-up the P in person.

Mark does good work, but he is sometimes difficult to reach via email.

If you are not trying to contact him regarding a current item, another good repairperson you might want to consider is Paul Ebel of Wisconsin. good luck

Sent him a mail with a question concerning my "Frankenstein" Yashica 124G 6 days ago and got a reply within 70 minutes.

it is possible your email is begin sent to a spam folder.... try emailing from a different address and make sure your subject is something like repair order from Joe, so the spam filter doesnt snag it.....dunno about the phone

Thanks for the responses. He did answer the phone today. I hope to have resolution soon.
