NY Dan - I didn't fiddle with the levels, just uploaded the scans. Perhaps I should have but I quite enjoy avoiding doing so on film unless I really have to

Nick here's what I'm suggesting. In PhotoShop I just did auto color and adjusted the levels a bit on the left side -- took 5 seconds total max. I think one should always try to make the stuff they show as good as possible.

Well said, Dan. A great composition can really sing, but not unless every other star is aligned. Can make the difference between great and excellent.
