Matte black x pro 1?

Reading fujirumours and looking at the pics, it seems some of the xp1 bodies appear to be matte black? Was this ever an option? I'd much prefer matte black... Just sayin'

yes, thanks, all... must have been a pigmentation of my imagination...

now, about this vintaging... i want matte black... short of the hardware store and the $3.99 budget spray, any ideas...?

I think its a trick of the light, they're all satin black so a halfway house between full matte and gloss.

I wish they had used the black chrome popular with Leica since the 70's. Much more durable than paint finishes and a bit more matte. I'd also like to see a silver chrome option for the X Pro.
