I suspect David will be eating hearty if he's toting the 8x10.
I now need to decide which film to bring. I'm still trying to get my Portra scans down. It's either that, or the standby of FP4+.
 
Hate to miss this since you guys are coming to my town, but my grand-daughter has a dance recital in Knoxville on the 14th that I'm not allowed to miss.

City Cafe is overpriced and not that good, IMO. Roy's on Rossville Blvd. in Rossville (about 50 yards across the state line) has much better food and a great (and genuine) 1950s atmosphere.
 
If nothing happens I will be coming to Chattanooga for the 14 May meeting. Couldn't make the first Atlanta meet because of family vacation. Chattanooga is a lot closer anyway.
 
Hey, good news, Dave!
We'll have plenty of things to do at Deardorff, and if it's raining, I understand the Union Station is still indoors!

Damn...now y'all are making me jealous! I wish I could make it but some rare traveling lately and the (finally!) purchase of my first M(!) means I have to sit this one out.

But please keep me in the loop for the June/July get together. I'm down for camping.

My wife seems to think prioritizing those two is easy...🙄

Steve, houses are a dime a dozen these days. Get an M7 and a condo or an MP and a really nice tent.

Hey Steve, I got an M4-2. It's not quite the Prom Queen of Leicas, but it suits my criteria of black, w/ hotshoe for the occasional flash duties, and no red dot on the front. Of course right after I paid for it, someone posted an M4-P with a black dot for a little less money. Ain't that the way it goes?

I appreciate the offers guys, but I've got to pay some bills and take the wife on a vacation next Monday. There's also the matter of trying to save more money to replace the Industar 50 I'm having to slum it with on the M4-2 for the time being.

Don't worry David, the Beselers won't be any worse the wear come June in Cherokee.

Finally, hopefully I can use my vacation next week to dvelop my huge b&w backlog- especially the roll I shot in Atlanta. Wish me luck!

You better take the lady on vacation😀 Going to Whitesides Mtn? Ya know I still haven't finished the roll yet. Got about 13 more frames. I'll finish it this weekend. There is a Antique motorcycle event in Denton. You guys have a great trip to Chattanooga. Barry get a Canon 28mm for the M4. Thats what I read somewhere Winogrand used.😉
