So RFFers, did you go out and capture the various demonstrations around the world? Share your work! I was here in NYC...
I missed the start of this thread as I was in Cuba on May 1st photographing "La Marcha" or the Workers Day March and festivities at Plaza de Revolucion. I was interviewed by a Russian TV news crew because I was American. I had to tell them that I was only a photographer and not someone making a political statement. I did meet the folks from the Havana School of Creative Photography where I may teach a workshop later this year.
It is hard to convey the thought that there were 200,000 workers in La Marcha with every workers group represented. This is a happy celebration, certainly not a protest.

I firmly Believe it Works BOTH Ways
You should do for YOUR COUNTRY
and
YOUR COUNTRY should do for You
I am Appalled on how we send Our Men & Women into War
and have them return with possibly No Limbs, Physical and Mental Trauma
and Our Government does Very Little for their Heroism
