I have this morning bought myself a used G2 kit - G2 body, 21/2.8 plus VF, 28/2.8, 35/2, 45/2, 90/2.8, TLA 200 flash unit, hoods, filters, and Contax bag.

A pity I now have to go to work

Fortunately, I also have a Leica IIIf, Nikon F65 and a D50, so plenty of room for GAS. Might have to look at the Hologon 16/8 as well

Huh? I just looked up "Entfernungsmesser", which is german for rangefinder, and found this.

Ok, it's a Leica, but it's got lots of electronics and a laser and I can't figure out where the film goes.

There's a whole rangefinder community out there missing from this forum.

You can find them on golf courses and in Main-Battle-Tanks.
